UnibongO offers to develop team spirit for groups of ten to several hundred, where participants unite in the rhythm of the "Jembe" drum.
We provide an authentic “Jembe” drum to each participant, then our team invit them to embark on a journey of musical and rhythmic exploration.
Percussion connects directly with participants’ intuition and emotions, fostering a strong sense of non-verbal communication in an extremely enjoyable way.
The element surprise and the fact that everything is kept very simple are keys to our success.
Groups find themselves suddenly immersed in a totally new activity producing extraordinary results.
Within minutes, participants unite naturally in rhythm, sounding like an orchestra.
The metaphorical message of our sessions comes across clearly and they are the most powerful and natural way for unifying a group in a unique and unforgettable interactive experience.
Our sessions last approximately one hour, ideal for breaking the ice and finding group synergy, allowing to convey the basics of choral work:
play rhythmically, listen, communicate and join in with enthusiasm.

Why the "Jembe" drum?
Imagine your whole organisation transforming into an orchestra in just a few minutes.
The rhythm of the drums connects with everyone, without exception.
In the 90's it took the world by storm, because in spite of its extreme complexity, it can be learned very quickly at a basic level.
The drum has always been a primary tool of communication in every civilisation and every continent across the globe.
The one we use is the “Jembe” drum from western Africa, more specifically the Mandinka area, now Mali-Guinea.
Our "Jembes" come from an arts and craft company from Bamako, Mali, which carries out environmental reforestation as well as socio-cultural programmes.
We move our drums all over the world without linguistic, cultural, gender, age or religious barriers, providing an essential instrument for socio-cultural cohesion with "Group Spirit" as a central theme.
